On-site Services
General On-site Support $120/hour
For a simple hourly rate, we can come out to you and take care of all of your needs. This is good for most cases but sometimes, a flat fee for specific issues may be more economical. Below are our flat fee services.
Internet & Network Setup/Troubleshooting $120
This service includes working with an existing ISP or establishing new service in your name according to your choice of service provider (we can offer recommendations). If we are establishing internet services for you, we will attempt to alleviate the fees charged by the ISP for sending out their own technician for initial setup since we will be performing that part. This service also includes setup of the modem, router/firewall, DHCP, single access point wireless if requested (including wireless security) and client configuration. This EXCLUDES the cost of equipment needed, any charges by the service provider and in-wall network cabling.
Peripheral Setup/Troubleshooting $120 ($25 each additional during same visit)
This service will include the setup or troubleshooting of one peripheral device including all hardware and drivers/software related to the peripheral. A peripheral is defined as a single device that attaches to a computer system such as a monitor, speakers, a printer, an external hard drive, a webcam, an input device, etc.
Software Installation/Troubleshooting $120 ($25 each additional during same visit)
This service includes the installation or troubleshooting of one software title (purchased separately) on one machine. We will also download and install any available updates to the software and can create shortcuts on the Desktop, Start Menu, and anywhere else you would like.
System Maintenance $120
This service includes the download and installation of all updates to the operating system, BIOS, drivers, virus definitions and all installed software titles when available. We will remove temporary files, attempt to uninstall any spyware/adware, and perform a full system scan using the latest virus definitions. In many cases, systems that are badly infected with viruses, spyware, adware or other types of Trojans may not be recoverable. In these extreme cases, the only recourse is a System Refresh.
System Refresh $200
This service should be performed only as a last resort when all other attempts to clean the system are unsuccessful. A System Refresh is a complete format of the hard drive and the reinstallation of the Operating System, drivers and all software titles from scratch. You are required to provide all installation media for the Operating System and software titles. If you are unable to provide the installation media, you may be required to purchase a new copy of the particular software title. It can take a considerable amount of time to complete this service and in some cases it can take more than a day to complete. Because of this, it is recommended that the technician disconnect the computer and transport it to our lab where we will complete the service and schedule its return within 48 hours.
NOTE: The above list of services and prices are to serve as guidelines for regular service. In some cases, extra work may be required for a particular service and additional charges may apply. In these rare cases, all additional costs will be presented for approval before any work is done.
Business Maintenance
Network Evaluation FREE!
Whether you are just starting out and need a new network built from the ground up or if you already have an established network, we can develop a plan to get you where you need to be as quickly and economically as possible. In some cases we may be able to propose multiple solutions allowing you to choose what works best for you and your budget. We will also work with you to determine what new technologies could be added to your existing network to make your business run better and more efficiently. We know what is important to businesses – the bottom line. Our goal is to create and maintain a network environment for your users that provides the most availability and reliability so that they can be the most productive which ultimately adds to your bottom line.
Monthly Maintenance
When developing a maintenance plan for a business network, there are many things to consider – how many PC’s, what type of PC’s, network printers, servers, etc., etc. Our plans focus on the one thing common to all networks no matter the size – people. Everything that exists on a network is there so people can use it. We have designed our scalable maintenance plans around the user element. You simply pay one flat rate per user and every other resource on your network that they use is covered. Our maintenance plan gives you…
The cost per user is determined by the size of your business because large businesses require more resources than small businesses. If you have servers on your network, each physical server counts as one user (in addition to your actual users). The maintenance plan cost covers all maintenance/support for your entire network. Software support may be limited to what the software vendor provides depending on the title.
SoHo 1-10 Users $20/user/month
SoHo’s (Small Office/Home Office) typically have a very basic network with a single shared Internet connection, there might be one server if any at all, and printing is usually achieved with individual personal printers or perhaps a single shared “all-in-one” style printer.
SMB 11-500 Users $35/user/month
SMB’s (Small-Midsized Business) can range from a basic network like the SoHo’s to Enterprise level complexity with multiple servers, network printers, video conferencing, multiple office locations, etc.
Enterprise 500+ Users $50/user/month
Enterprises have the most elaborate and complex networks. In most cases Enterprises have their own IT department with a staff of administrators and technicians to support everything. In some cases, they outsource to IT consulting firms to save money but end up less than satisfied with the level of service they receive. We bring the best of both worlds together by providing a dedicated “in-house” quality of service on an as needed basis.
How it works...
Thanks to our partnership with LogMeIn, Inc., we are able to utilize their remote access software to securely administer every workstation and server on your network. This allows us to respond quickly to issues by allowing us to see exactly what the user sees and even allows us to take control of the mouse and keyboard when needed. Be assured we will only connect to a PC when help is needed and the user retains the ability to see the screen and control the keyboard and mouse at all times. If help is needed, simply give us a call and we will “remote in” to resolve the issue as quick as possible. If the issue hinders our ability to access the pc remotely (hardware/network failure, etc.), then we will schedule an on-site visit as quickly as possible – usually the same day.
VPN Included!
The same software that allows us the ability to remotely help your users also allows VPN connectivity enabling your users to work from anywhere in the world and still have access to all the network resources as if they were still at their desk.
Administration $15/15 minutes
The support included with each of our monthly maintenance plans covers all problem related issues. Administration is when changes or additions need to be made to your network (granting someone access to a folder, etc.). Administration tasks are usually small so we charge in 15 minute blocks as opposed to hourly.
Emergency Service $120/hour
We understand how important it is for things to always run smoothly in order for your business to be successful. That’s why we will always do our best to provide the quickest possible response to all of our clients. However, if the issue you are having can’t wait for our earliest available schedule or if it is after hours and the issue can’t wait until the morning, we can rush out to your office immediately – 24/7 and guaranteed in 1 hour or less.
Backup Services $5/server or pc/month
All the IT support in the world will be of no help in a disaster if your data is not backed up. Depending on the size of your network and the amount of data that needs to be backed up, our remote backup services may be able to provide the data recovery you need. Utilizing your existing Internet connection, all data is transmitted through an encrypted tunnel to our secure backup servers.
If the amount of data you need to backup is too large to fit through your Internet connection, an on-site backup solution may be right for you. If this is the case, we will work with you on developing a solution that fits your needs and your budget.
